FAQ

Is Artex dangerous?

Older Artex can contain trace asbestos. We treat any unknown Artex as suspect and either encapsulate or arrange testing.

Can you scrape it all off?

Where safe and practical, yes. Otherwise we encapsulate and overboard. Either gives a flawless flat finish.

How messy is it?

Less than you would think. We sheet up, vacuum at source and clear away as we go. Houses stay liveable.

How long does a ceiling take?

A typical bedroom ceiling is one day to remove and re-skim, then a few days drying time before paint.
