Traditional roughcast wet-applied, the long-life Scottish render that still outlasts most modern systems.

Hand-thrown stones on a fresh undercoat. Patched or full-house, matched to existing finishes.

Damaged or fallen-off sections cut back, made good and re-dashed to blend with surrounding wall.

Old, tired dash can be painted with a breathable masonry coat for a refreshed look without ripping it off.

FAQ

Should I keep the pebble dash or render over it?

Depends on its condition. Sound dash can be painted or kept. Loose, hollow or damaged dash is better re-rendered.

How long does dash last?

Properly applied wet dash on a sound wall lasts 40 to 60 years. It is the long-life Scottish render for a reason.

Can you match the existing stones?

Usually yes. We source matching aggregate where we can, and on bigger jobs we recommend re-dashing the whole face for an even finish.

Is dashing waterproof?

It is highly water-shedding when properly applied on a sound undercoat. Not the same as a sealed wall, but it sheds Scottish rain well.
